An Experience with Master Zhen Hua Yang
From Water to Sky
4–26 March 2027, China
A journey through some of the most extraordinary landscapes, from the living waters of Jiuzhaigou to the sacred heights of Tibet, where nature, culture, and inner practice come together to restore balance and deepen self-understanding.
This journey brings together two extraordinary landscapes, taking you from the crystal waters of Jiuzhaigou to the vast highlands of Tibet.
In Jiuzhaigou, we experience the element of Water – the source of life, movement, and regeneration. Crystal lakes, flowing waterfalls, and ancient forests remind us of the importance of adaptability, nourishment, and continuous flow.
From there, the journey ascends to Tibet, the Roof of the World. Surrounded by sacred lakes, glaciers, ancient monasteries, and endless skies, we enter a landscape that naturally invites stillness, humility, and a broader perspective.
At the heart of the journey is the Human.
As the outer landscapes change from flowing waters to open skies, something within also begins to shift. This journey offers space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and discover how nature, culture, and silence can deepen your understanding of what truly matters.
From Water to Sky is not only a journey across remarkable landscapes. It is a journey through yourself.
Return to the Source
In Jiuzhaigou, Master Yang experienced a profound realization while observing the many forms of water – still, flowing, falling, gathering. It was here that the idea of Calligraphy Health first took shape. You will walk the same paths, witness the same landscapes, and experience the living energy that gave birth to the depth of this practice. From there, you rise into the mountains of Zhangjiajie, where vastness dissolves self-importance and opens the heart to something greater than personal effort.
Step Closer to the Roots
To practice in China is to stand closer to the cultural soil from which these internal arts emerged. You will train alongside local students, discovering both differences in expression and profound similarities in intention. Beyond language and form, the shared goal remains the same – personal refinement, inner balance, and compassion.

About Master
Zhen Hua Yang
Master Zhen Hua Yang comes from a family with a 400-year tradition of energy practices and martial arts. He began his training at the age of two under the guidance of his father and grandfather and later refined his skills with skiled masters from the Shaolin and Wudang monasteries, including the renowned monk Hai Deng, famous for his “one-finger stand.”
His personal experience of overcoming asthma in childhood through practice became his motivation to help others. For over 30 years, he has shared his knowledge with a diverse range of students – from monks and athletes to artists and business professionals – helping them achieve greater performance through inner balance. He also led special Calligraphy Health courses for the Australian military for four years, supporting soldiers in overcoming trauma and PTSD.
What sets Master Yang apart is his authentic fusion of ancient wisdom with a deep understanding of modern health and life challenges, making his teachings both timeless and highly relevant today.

About Calligraphy Health
“It’s not just about the movement. It’s about what lies beyond it.” – Master Zhen Hua Yang
Calligraphy Health is a moving meditation, where inner peace meets fluid, harmonious body movements. Rooted in ancient Chinese wisdom, this method guides you toward reuniting body and mind through conscious breathing and mindfulness.
Master Yang’s approach values personal experience over theory. Through practice, you discover the wisdom of your own body and a deep connection with yourself.
During the course, you gradually learn a sequence of movements and forms while having the time to explore the principles that extend beyond movement itself. You practice without pressure, at your own pace, maintaining a balance between learning and rest.
By the end of the course, you will have developed your own practice—one that you can freely continue and integrate into your daily life.
