MOVING MEDITATION COURSE
with Master Zhen Hua Yang

Men’s Vital Energy

4–11 February 2027

QLD Australia

Release fear and strengthen mental resilience in the face of adversity.

Have you spent years pushing through, and started to feel what it costs?

Many men learn to rely on effort: work harder, hold on, keep going. Over time, the body often answers with tension, a tiredness that sleep doesn’t quite lift, and the sense of running on reserves.

Calligraphy Health combined with Calligraphy Power offer another kind of strength

Calligraphy Health is a moving meditation rooted in Nei Gong and Qi Gong. You learn to move from the centre and find the power that was already there. Master Yang has shaped this course from decades of teaching martial arts to men, and from his years working with army veterans.

Integrating Body, Mind, and Energy

Experience a holistic practice that goes deeper than movement and breath, allowing you to connect with your internal organs, blood, and Qi circulation. This method works as a natural self-visceral massage that supports your body’s internal systems. By harmonizing these elements, you cultivate a deeply rooted sense of well-being and inner balance.

Gaining independence for at-home practice

About Master
Zhen Hua Yang

Master Zhen Hua Yang comes from a family with a 400-year tradition of internal energy practices and martial arts. He began training at the age of two under the guidance of his father and grandfather, and later refined his skills with the renowned Buddhist monk Hai Deng – known for his legendary “one-finger stand” – as well as with a highly accomplished Daoist master.

His personal experience of overcoming asthma in childhood through practice became his motivation to help others. For over 30 years, he has shared his knowledge with a diverse range of students – from monks and athletes to artists and business professionals – helping them achieve greater performance through inner balance. He also led special Calligraphy Health courses for the Australian military for four years, supporting soldiers in overcoming trauma and PTSD.

What sets Master Yang apart is his authentic fusion of ancient wisdom with a deep understanding of modern health and life challenges, making his teachings both timeless and highly relevant today.

About Calligraphy Health and Calligraphy Power

“It’s not just about the movement. It’s about what lies beyond the movement.” – Master Zhen Hua Yang

Calligraphy Power and Calligraphy Health are two interconnected parts of one lineage that combine movement, breath, and mindfulness. Calligraphy Power is a more dynamic side rooted in internal martial arts, while Calligraphy Health is a gentle Qi Gong / Nei Gong practice, often compared to moving meditation.

Both systems, created by Master Zhen Hua Yang and originating from China, support health and well-being on multiple levels. They enhance strength and coordination, open and increase the flexibility of the body, and harmonize the mind. Additionally, they positively affect the digestive, hormonal, and nervous systems.

Both methods are based on fluid, natural movements generated from the body’s center. When practiced at a slow pace, they work like visceral massage – improving the function of internal organs. Moreover, when performed at a fast pace, Calligraphy Power becomes an effective tool for self-defense.

How is Calligraphy Health different from other practices?

Moving Meditation

Fluid, gentle, and natural movements aligned with the body’s energy channels, Meridians, in a meditative state, harmonizing both body and mind.

Internal organ servicing

The movements engage the body’s center, acting as a gentle self-visceral massage that naturally enhances internal organ function.

Increase your energy levels

Stimulating the body’s energy channels while engaging the Dantian (energy center) cultivates and stores vital energy, promoting sustained vitality and reduced fatigue.

Works on multiple levels

This practice simultaneously engages the body, mind, and energy by harmonizing the digestive, circulatory, and nervous systems.

Improved sleep and enhanced recovery

By calming the nervous system, this practice enhances sleep quality, leading to improved nighttime recovery.

Accessible to everyone

It’s suitable for all ages, gender and levels of physical ability, including seated positions.
