Regain Trust

Has an oncology diagnosis brought fear into your daily life and turned your world upside down?

The fight against cancer can take away the joy of life, weaken the body, and create a constant fear that the disease might return.

Calligraphy Health will help you regain peace

It is a method based on ancient Chinese wisdom, combining meditation with harmonious movement, allowing you to reconnect with yourself. The special workshop program has been tailored to meet the needs of individuals undergoing oncology treatment.

This Workshop is For

It is suitable for anyone diagnosed with cancer, whether undergoing cancer treatment or prior to treatment. It is also suitable for anyone who has recovered from cancer, regardless of how long it has been since their recovery. We also welcome anyone supporting a loved one through their journey through cancer and those who would like to use it as a cancer prevention.

Does it actually help?

About Master
Zhen Hua Yang

Master Zhen Hua Yang comes from a family with a 400-year tradition of internal energy practices and martial arts. He began training at the age of two under the guidance of his father and grandfather, and later refined his skills with the renowned Buddhist monk Hai Deng – known for his legendary “one-finger stand” – as well as with a highly accomplished Daoist master.

His personal experience of overcoming asthma in childhood through practice became his motivation to help others. For over 30 years, he has shared his knowledge with a diverse range of students – from monks and athletes to artists and business professionals – helping them achieve greater performance through inner balance. He also led special Calligraphy Health courses for the Australian military for four years, supporting soldiers in overcoming trauma and PTSD.

What sets Master Yang apart is his authentic fusion of ancient wisdom with a deep understanding of modern health and life challenges, making his teachings both timeless and highly relevant today.

About Calligraphy Health

“It’s not just about the movement. It’s about what lies beyond it.” – Master Zhen Hua Yang

Calligraphy Health is a moving meditation, where inner peace meets fluid, harmonious body movements. Rooted in ancient Chinese wisdom, this method guides you toward reuniting body and mind through conscious breathing and mindfulness.

Master Yang’s approach values personal experience over theory. Through practice, you discover the wisdom of your own body and a deep connection with yourself.

During the course, you gradually learn a sequence of movements and forms while having the time to explore the principles that extend beyond movement itself. You practice without pressure, at your own pace, maintaining a balance between learning and rest.

By the end of the course, you will have developed your own practice—one that you can freely continue and integrate into your daily life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is any preparation required to join the training?

No prior experience in meditation, breathing, or physical preparation is required to participate in the training. This method is accessible to anyone regardless of age, gender, or physical fitness. If your health condition prevents you from standing, you can practice while seated in a chair.

Is this workshop a medical treatment?

No. This workshop does not replace medical treatment, therapy, or professional advice. It is an educational and supportive session introducing gentle movement and emotional regulation tools that may help you feel more stable and grounded during or after treatment.

Always follow the guidance of your medical team.

Who is this workshop suitable for?

This workshop is open to:

  • People before cancer treatment

  • People currently undergoing cancer treatment
  • Cancer survivors

  • Those living with recurrence

  • Family members and caregivers

  • Anyone intersted in a holistic approach to health

No prior experience with Calligraphy Health is required.

I am currently in treatment and feel very weak. Can I still join?

Yes. All movements demonstrated can be adapted. You may practice seated, standing, or simply observe. Listening alone can already be valuable.

Please always respect your own limits and your doctor’s recommendations.

Do I need to turn my camera on?

No. You are welcome to keep your camera off for the entire session. Many participants prefer this, especially in sensitive life situations.

Master Yang likes to see the participants but the decision is up to you – you can participate quietly and privately.

What exactly will we practice?

You will be guided through:

  • Gentle, slow movements that can support circulation

  • Simple methods to regulate internal stress responses

No. This online workshop is offered free of charge. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link.

I am not sure if this is right for me. What should I do?
