About Master
Zhen Hua Yang

Master Zhen Hua Yang comes from a family with a 400-year tradition of energy practices and martial arts. He began his training at the age of two under the guidance of his father and grandfather and later refined his skills with skiled masters from the Shaolin and Wudang monasteries, including the renowned monk Hai Deng, famous for his “one-finger stand.”

His personal experience of overcoming asthma in childhood through practice became his motivation to help others. For over 30 years, he has shared his knowledge with a diverse range of students – from monks and athletes to artists and business professionals – helping them achieve greater performance through inner balance. He also led special Calligraphy Health courses for the Australian military for four years, supporting soldiers in overcoming trauma and PTSD.

What sets Master Yang apart is his authentic fusion of ancient wisdom with a deep understanding of modern health and life challenges, making his teachings both timeless and highly relevant today.

Master Yang’s approach values personal experience over theory. Through practice, you discover the wisdom of your own body and a deep connection with yourself.

During the course, you gradually learn a sequence of movements and forms while having the time to explore the principles that extend beyond movement itself. You practice without pressure, at your own pace, maintaining a balance between learning and rest.

What is included:

10 days of training with Master Zhen Hua Yang – Each day, you will spend approximately 4.5 hours learning and practicing, totaling around 45 hours of direct contact with the master.

Practice in an intimate group of up to 24 participants – A small group ensures personalized attention and a deeper connection with other participants.

Video recordings of the positions presented during the course – These materials will support your practice both during the course and at home, helping you retain and refine the techniques learned.

Blood tests before and after the course – These allow you to monitor changes in your body resulting from the practice.

New, supportive connections with like-minded individuals – Practicing together fosters relationships and the exchange of experiences.

Support group on WhatsApp – Stay connected, share progress, and receive support both during and after the course.

A list of positions from the course – A detailed exercise list will make independent practice easier and help you quickly recall each movement.

Ancient Chinese wisdom

We combine the ancient Chinese wisdom of Nei Gong and Qi Gong, offering a holistic approach to health and the balance of body and mind. Through gentle movements, breathwork, and mindfulness practices, participants will discover tools to walk their own path with courage and trust—in themselves, their bodies, and their future.

Recent scientific studies show that emotional state significantly influences physical health in the context of cancer recovery. Chronic stress can weaken the immune system and increase inflammation, which may contribute to disease progression. That’s why prioritizing mental well-being and incorporating practices that promote a positive mindset can not only enhance quality of life but also potentially improve treatment outcomes.

The “Fearless Through Cancer” course serves as a complement to traditional treatment and does not replace conventional therapeutic methods. Before participating, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider.

Accommodation package details

Please note that joining the course requires staying at the venue listed below; staying elsewhere is not possible.

  • vegetarian meals and drinks (two meals on day 1, three meals a day for days 2–9, one meal on day 10)

  • at the beginning and end of the course, all participants will undergo medical blood tests to monitor the results of the training. These tests will be conducted on-site by professional medical staff.

Is it possible to arrive earlier or stay longer?

Yes, you can arrive at the center earlier or stay longer if accommodation is available – please contact the venue directly for more details.

Can I join the training later or leave earlier?

We discourage joining the course late; this is only possible with prior approval from Master Yang. You may leave the course early if necessary. In both cases, the full course fee applies. Please contact us to discuss the details.

Is any preparation required to join the training?

No prior experience in meditation, breathing, or physical preparation is required to participate in the training. This method is accessible to anyone regardless of age, gender, or physical fitness. If your health condition prevents you from standing, you can practice while seated in a chair.

Won't 6 hours of practice a day be too much?

Engaging in 6 hours of daily practice may seem extensive; however, our programs are thoughtfully designed to accommodate participants of all experience levels. The schedule incorporates regular breaks and maintains a balanced pace to ensure that both beginners and seasoned practitioners can participate comfortably without feeling overwhelmed. Participants are encouraged to practice at their own pace and take rest as needed. Many find that, despite initial concerns, the time passes swiftly, with sessions feeling engaging and fulfilling. Immersive retreat experiencesleads to significant improvements in various dimensions of health and well-being, with benefits lasting beyond the retreat period.

What is the course price based on?

The pricing of our courses reflects the value of receiving direct instruction from Master Zhen Hua Yang, an expert with over 50 years of experience in internal arts and health practices. Each course offers 5 to 7 hours of daily training personally led by Master Yang, ensuring individualized guidance and support. This immersive experience equips participants with the skills and knowledge to continue their practice independently at home. The course fees align with the depth of Master Yang’s lifelong dedication and the comprehensive training provided.

Can I cancel my participation after purchasing the course?

To reserve a spot in the course, a 50% deposit of the total amount is required. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the course begins.

  • If you cancel more than 14 days before the event, 80% of the amount paid will be refunded.
  • If you cancel due to medical reasons and we are able to fill your spot with another participant, you will receive a 100% refund.

Where will I sleep during training?

Kurs odbędzie się w domu „Nad Rogalami” na Mazurach Garbatych. Jest to magiczne siedlisko na wzgórzu, położone w samym sercu Mazur Garbatych, otoczone jeziorami, łąkami i lasami, gdzie czas zdaje się płynąć wolniej. Can I stay in a single room?

Due to the limited number of spots and the absence of single rooms at the retreat center, we are unable to offer single accommodations. Sharing a room with another participant is an integral part of the course experience, fostering exchange, mutual support, and the development of meaningful connections within the group.

How do I get to the course location?

Shared Travel with Other Participants
Before the course begins, we will create a WhatsApp group to help participants connect and arrange shared transportation.

By Car
If you are coming from Ełk, drive through Woszczele and Grabnik. In Grabnik, at the fork in the road, turn right and continue straight through the village. After leaving Grabnik, drive for about 2 km, until you see a sign reading “Rogale 29” next to a stone on the left side of the road.
The exact coordinates are 53°51’51.6″N 22°09’39.8″E, which mark the location of the stone and the “Rogale 29” sign. Turn into the forest at this point. Do not drive through the village of Rogale, as Google Maps often incorrectly suggests!

By Public Transport
You can reach Ełk by bus or train. If we are available, we may be able to pick you up from the station, or we can arrange a taxi with a trusted driver. The cost is approximately 80 PLN one way. Contact us to arrange details: dom@nadrogalami.pl

By Plane
The nearest international airports are Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport and Warsaw Chopin Airport. From there, you can travel to Ełk by bus or train (see details above).

What do I need to bring with me?

A limited number of yoga mats will be available on-site, so we recommend bringing your own. However, if you don’t have one, you’ll be able to use the mats provided.

Please also bring comfortable, non-restrictive clothing suitable for movement. Additionally, we suggest bringing a water bottle or thermos to stay hydrated during the sessions.

If you plan to swim in the lake, don’t forget to pack a swimsuit.
