All events in 2025 are open to both beginners and experienced students ensuring that any event you choose will be suitable for you.

FOR LIMITED TIME:
If your time is limited, you can choose from shorter workshops lasting 2 to 5 days, selecting based on the topic, duration, a suitable date, or a convenient location.

FOR COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING:
For a deeper, holistic experience, we invite you to join our flagship 10-day Organ Service courses. If possible, it’s best to start with Part 1, but if the timing or location isn’t ideal, you can begin with any part between 1 and 3.

For those interested in martial arts, we invite you to a special event titled “Power & Compassion,” which combines the holistic practices of Calligraphy Health with the dynamic internal martial art known as Calligraphy Elbow.

Between 2 to 10 days of training with Master Zhen Hua Yang: Each day, you will spend 5–7 hours learning and practicing with Master Yang.

Video recordings of the positions demonstrated during the course: These materials will support your practice both during and after the course, helping you refine and retain the techniques learned.

What does the training look like?

The courses and workshops last between 20 to 10 days. During this time, you practice for about 5–7 hours a day with Master Yang. While some time is dedicated to wisdom and knowledge, the majority is spent learning and practicing movement sequences under Master Yang’s guidance.

Each day, you learn new movements, gradually building a complete sequence over the duration of the course. Throughout the training, you receive corrections and adjustments from Master Yang, deepening your understanding of the practice. By the end, you gain the confidence and independence to continue training at home.

The learning process is adapted to your own pace, allowing you to rest as needed. The practice is done without force, making it accessible to everyone. What may seem like long training hours often pass by in the blink of an eye, thanks to the supportive group atmosphere and Master Yang’s presence.

About Master
Zhen Hua Yang

Master Zhen Hua Yang comes from a family with a 400-year tradition of energy practices and martial arts. He began his training at the age of two under the guidance of his father and grandfather and later refined his skills with skiled masters from the Shaolin and Wudang monasteries, including the renowned monk Hai Deng, famous for his “one-finger stand.”

His personal experience of overcoming asthma in childhood through practice became his motivation to help others. For over 30 years, he has shared his knowledge with a diverse range of students – from monks and athletes to artists and business professionals – helping them achieve greater performance through inner balance. He also led special Calligraphy Health courses for the Australian military for four years, supporting soldiers in overcoming trauma and PTSD.

What sets Master Yang apart is his authentic fusion of ancient wisdom with a deep understanding of modern health and life challenges, making his teachings both timeless and highly relevant today.

Is any preparation required to join the training?

No prior experience in meditation, breathing, or physical preparation is required to participate in the training. This method is accessible to anyone regardless of age, gender, or physical fitness. If your health condition prevents you from standing, you can practice while seated in a chair.

Won’t 5–7 hour of practice a day be too much?

Engaging in 5 to 7 hours of daily practice may seem extensive; however, our programs are thoughtfully designed to accommodate participants of all experience levels. The schedule incorporates regular breaks and maintains a balanced pace to ensure that both beginners and seasoned practitioners can participate comfortably without feeling overwhelmed. Participants are encouraged to practice at their own pace and take rest as needed. Many find that, despite initial concerns, the time passes swiftly, with sessions feeling engaging and fulfilling. Immersive retreat experiencesleads to significant improvements in various dimensions of health and well-being, with benefits lasting beyond the retreat period.

Can I cancel my participation after purchasing the course?

To reserve a spot in the course, a deposit of 50% of the total amount is required. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the course begins. If you cancel more than 14 days before the event, we will refund 80% of the amount paid.

The conditions for accommodation cancellations are managed by the venues.

What payment methods are available?

What is the course price based on?

The pricing of our courses reflects the value of receiving direct instruction from Master Zhen Hua Yang, an expert with over 50 years of experience in internal arts and health practices. Each course offers 5 to 7 hours of daily training personally led by Master Yang, ensuring individualized guidance and support. This immersive experience equips participants with the skills and knowledge to continue their practice independently at home. The course fees align with the depth of Master Yang’s lifelong dedication and the comprehensive training provided.

Where will I sleep during training?

For shorter workshops lasting between 2 to 4 days, typically held in urban settings, participants are responsible for arranging and funding their own accommodation and meals. In contrast, longer events spanning 5 to 10 days are hosted at retreat centers that provide both lodging and meals.

How do I get to the course location?

For each event, we provide detailed directions for public transportation options to the venue. Approximately one month before the event, we create a WhatsApp group for participants to facilitate communication and coordination, including arranging shared travel plans. Additionally, our team is available to assist you in finding and organizing suitable travel connections to ensure a smooth journey to the course location.

Why are the course and accommodation fees sometimes separated?

In-person events lasting between 5 to 10 days are held at retreat centers. Payments for the course with Master Yang, as well as for food and accommodation, often need to be made separately.

At Calligraphy Health, our headquarters are in Australia, which is why our online store operates in Australian dollars (AUD). To keep accommodation and meal costs as low as possible, we separate these fees from the course tuition. This approach helps avoid additional charges and taxes associated with payment processing.

What do I need to bring with me?

You don’t need any special equipment. Please bring comfortable, non-restrictive clothing suitable for exercise. It’s advisable to have a water bottle or thermos to stay hydrated during sessions. We will send you a packing list tailored to the venue before the course. This may include items such as yoga mats, swimsuits, and mosquito repellent.
